On How To Educatellthesyeseylys: Or - The Mistypleedings

You’re seeing things
Said Ms T. Pleedings,

No
I believe you

I just think
You might be tired

Maybe get your hearing checked, my dear
Might help you with a great fear, what?

I can make that call for you
If you want me two

I'm here - for you
Lean in on me, it's what we do

We are the Mistypleedings
And we are leaning in hard for you.

First, you take a person
And make the lie feel easy peasy
Small enough to swallow
Soft enough to pass
Large enough to earn its keep

Say it like the weather
Say it like you mean it
Whether you mean it or not
Say it with a face that is an unface

That does not know it wears a mask
Nothing moved
Nothing broke
Nobody meant to hurt you

So my story goes
That was not
What you heard
That was not a bird

Come with me, Suzy dear
Let's take a walk
Let me help convert you

You can teach a mouth to smooth
As the words leave the bruise
Without anything to see
You can teach the words to smooth
Every fracture in the room

You can teach the little yes
Like a tittle tittle bird
To arrive before the wound word

[Chorus]
This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

Tell the eye
Sly lys
Make the wrong thing sound polite

This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

Easy yes
I lie
And the lie walks out in light

Next, you make the falsehood
What it is not, but what it could be be
Make it the undoing of the done
And yet it never even trips an alarm
Just part of ordinary breathing

No pulse jump jump
No eye twitch twitch
No trouble in the hand
Just a nagging, unfelt itch

Teach the tongue to carry
What it should only spit out
Let the mouth eat its way
Into your life and maybe, your wife

Just a little rearranging
Teach the face to say
Maybe yay - maybe no yay

There is nothing to understand
Nothing understood is there there to be
It was small yet tall
It was a mere thing and grand

It was kind, yet came at you blind
It was only a conversation, I'll say
I meant no harm to you or your kind
Why so tense and so prickly

Why so sharp and with a brow furrowed furrowed
Why this need for accusation
What are you hiding?
In your vacation station?

[Pre-Chorus]
You can teach a witness mercy
Till the witness cannot see
Matters not a one whit two

You can teach a person lying
To sound like charity while
She sounds just like you

This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

Tell the eye
Sly lys
Make the soft thing hide the knife

This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

Easy yes
I lie
Move the frame and move a life

Nobody lied loudly
I promise. I swear.
Nobody kicked the door
I was the only one there.

Nobody wrote the damage
In a language you could know show

It was just a little judgment
A sentence was handed down
With a hard hand hard upon your back
And a voice - that was digging in for the attack

It was just a little yes, so what what what
Where the no had been attack attacked

It was just a time bandit shoulder
To lean-urn on after you fell down

Just a helpful little up one up two two
Dressed to kill with a look that splits the will

Say yes
Look clean clean
Lie small lie small

Stay sweet sweet
Wrong word, bad bird
Right smile, what did I hear heard?

Soft hand
Long file
It's gonna be a good little long while

No tells
No sweat
And not later yet either

No twitchy eye twitch
No debt not yet
Good voice unseen joist

Good eyes never heard the lies
Sly lys
I lies
High life high

Educatell
Educatell

The yes, no yes
The eye hymns don't need them.
The sly eye why easy lie needs nothing
To make it automatic!
Automatic eye lie no why lies

Educatell
Educatell

The easy who me
Given way to the no eye lies whys

Let's take a walk, my little Suzy dear
Along the beach that never cries

Now the lie is second nature
But still, second nature ain't first

You see? The sentence wears a collar
You hear it? The kindness hides a thirst

Now the mouth can run a run run ruin
With a whisper and a nod nod nod

Now the room can call it mercy
While it un-ears all it knows and unlearns God

Every lie confesses and easy undresses easy
Every easy answer bleeds out hard and easy lazy

Every little yes carries the singer's song
And has a witness who see sings in the key of ease

You can teach the truth to stu-stu-stutter
Underneath a polished tone you own

You can teach the lie to weak whisper
And me? Troublemaker? No. That's whisper lisper.

This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

Tell the eye
Sly lys
Make the almost pass for true

This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

Easy yes
I lie
And the lie says I was you

This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

No alarm
No scar
Just a sentence wearing lace

This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys

And when the whole life bends
And you bend with it

Everybody asks looking all puzzled to death
Who taught that person to lie to that face

You’re seeing things
No
I believe you

Stop. You are over-reacting.
Stop. I am your friend.
Stop. There. Better now?

I just think
You might be tired

Maybe get your hearing checked, my dear

I can make that call for you
If you want me two

CASE NOTE – MISTYPLEEDINGS / “EDUCATELLTHESYESEYLYS”
On how mislearning is installed by the Witch’s lean-in, and what counters it
Classification: Commentary / Operational Doctrine

  1. Who, or What Are the Mistypleedings?

The Mistypleedings are the Witch in her softest uniform —

“We are the Mistypleedings
And we are leaning in hard for you.”

They are the part of a person (or culture, or system) that teaches you to distrust your own seeing under the guise of care:

“You’re seeing things…
No, I believe you…
I just think you might be tired…
Maybe get your hearing checked…”

This is not overt attack.

It’s gentle annexation:

Your senses,

Your memory,

Your “no,”

All of these are portrayed as symptoms to be treated, not signals to be honored.

  1. What “Educatellthesyeseylys” Actually Describes

The song is a procedure manual for mislearning.

Step 1: Make the Lie Easy

“First, you take a person
And make the lie feel easy peasy
Small enough to swallow
Soft enough to pass
Large enough to earn its keep”

Lies are made small, soft, weather-like:

“Say it like the weather / Say it like you mean it…”

Delivered with a face that “does not know it wears a mask.”

Goal: no pulse spike, no obvious “event”—just ordinary atmosphere.

Effect:The body stops marking the lie as abnormal.
Mislearning begins.

Step 2: Teach the Mouth to Smooth Over Bruises

Pre-chorus:

“You can teach a mouth to smooth
As the words leave the bruise
Without anything to see…”

The move:

Harm happens (the bruise).
Immediately, words arrive to smooth it:

“I was just joking.”
“You’re overreacting.”
“It wasn’t that bad.”

The speaker’s mouth becomes a cosmetic tool:

No visible crack in the room, but the witness has been filed down.

Effect: Your nervous system is taught:

If it can be smoothed this fast, maybe it wasn’t real.

Step 3: Train the “Easy Yes”

Chorus:

“This is how
This is how
This is how you educatellthesyeseylys
Easy yes
I lie
And the lie walks out in light”

The “easy yes” is:

The reflex to agree, soften, excuse, accept.
The yes that arrives before your “no” has a chance to form.
The yes that makes the wrong thing “sound polite.”

Effect:Your first move in conflict becomes accommodation, not truth.

Step 4: Make the Lie Second Nature (But Still Not First)

“Now the lie is second nature
But still, second nature ain’t first”

Important nuance:

The lie has become reflex, but it isn’t your original nature.

Your body’s first registrations (fear, confusion, anger, hurt) are still there.

They just get overwritten by the trained yes:

“Say yes / Look clean clean / Lie small lie small…”

Effect:
You experience your own first reaction as suspicious and your second (trained) reaction as “mature.”

Eventually:

“And the lie says I was you.”

The mislearned yes now impersonates your identity.

  1. What This Song Adds to the Witch Doctrine

It answers how mislearning gets installed:

Not mainly by trauma that screams,

But by soft corrections that are:

Too kind, too helpful, too fast.

The Mistypleedings:

Convert harm into “misunderstanding.”
Convert your protest into “overreaction.”
Convert your witness into a “problem to be managed.”

They “educatellthesyeseylys” by:

1 Turning every “no” into a social offense.

2 Offering an “easy yes” as the path to being good, reasonable, lovable.

3 Rewarding you with temporary harmony every time you betray your own seeing.

That’s mislearning in a nutshell.

  1. Devices That Counter Mistypleedings

To counter this, you don’t argue with the whole song. You use compact devices that:

Expose the pattern.
Protect your witness.
Install new first moves.

Device Type A – Name the Lean-In

When someone leans in “helpfully” to talk you out of what you saw or felt:

“That sounds kind. It’s also making me doubt what I just lived. I’m not okay with that.”

“You sound like you’re helping. I feel like I’m being converted. I’m going to pause here.”

This breaks the spell of care-as-weapon.

Device Type B – Protect the Witness

For every “You’re seeing things / You’re tired / You misheard”:

“I may be tired. That doesn’t erase what I saw.”

“I’m open to details being fuzzy. I’m not open to my whole experience being dismissed.”

“We can check my hearing later. Right now I’m talking about what happened.”

Short, steady, not defensive.

You’re refusing to make your perception a case file against yourself.

Device Type C – Refuse the Easy Yes

When you feel your mouth about to say “It’s fine” while the rest of you knows it isn’t:

Internal:

“This is an easy-yes drill. I don’t owe it.”
“The yes they want is not the yes I’m giving.”

Out loud, minimal:

“Actually, it’s not fine for me.”
“No, that didn’t feel small to me.”
“I’m not ready to say it’s okay.”

Each time you do this, you’re un-teaching the mislearned reflex.

Device Type D – Aftercare: Who Taught Me This?
When you catch yourself self-silencing later:

“This easy yes was trained. It wasn’t born with me.”

“I learned to lie to my own face so somebody else could stay comfortable.”

“I’m allowed to retire that lesson.”

You’re restoring the distinction the song preserves:

Second nature is not first.

Old lesson is not essence.

  1. Operational Summary

“Mistypleedings / Educatellthesyeseylys” is the Witch’s teacher’s manual for:

How your body learns the wrong lesson,
How the “easy yes” becomes automatic,
How your truth is polished into something socially acceptable but personally fatal.

This case note says:

Name the Mistypleedings when they show up (in others or in you).

Use short, repeatable devices to:

Interrupt the lean-in, refuse the easy yes, and keep your witness intact.

Remember:

The lie can become second nature, but second nature ain’t first.

In house-talk:

They taught your mouth to say “yes” where your life needed “no.”

Devices are how you teach it back.

That is the case.
